it's true. i edit wikipedia articles. having lurked on wikipedia for much of my natural life, i finally took the plunge in 2026 and started doing some editing for once. wikipedia editing is inherently collaborative, so it wouldn't be fair for me to take all the credit for new edits. having said that, wikipedia does also provide editors with viewcounts since their last edits so at least some pride in your contributions is encouraged! for instance, in July 2026 i overhauled the article for the bar course for qualifying as a barrister in england and wales as most of the information was outdated and talked about a version of the course that no longer exists. i was surprised nobody else had taken the liberty to make these changes.
